Marked!
Remember when things happened — and when they're due again.
Retired This app is no longer available on the App Store, but we keep its page here for posterity.

What was it?
When was the last time you checked the batteries in the smoke detector, or got a haircut, or took the dog for a walk? Can't remember? Neither could I, so I wrote an app to keep track of things like that. Whenever there was an event you wanted to remember, you simply marked the time that it occurred.
Need to be reminded to check those smoke detector batteries every month? Turn on notifications for that event, set it to 30 days, and Marked! would notify you when 30 days had passed since the last check. Unlike a fixed alarm, notifications were based on when you actually marked an event — so if you checked the batteries early (or late), the notification reset from that point.
Marked! also stored a history of all your events. You could look back through your history to see how often an event was marked, or view a graph of the time between each event to see how consistently you were doing a particular thing.
People used it for…
- Home maintenance: smoke detector batteries, cleaning the gutters, sweeping the deck
- Personal care: medication, haircuts, exercise, sleep
- Baby care: diaper changes, potty training, feeding
- Pet care: food and water, walks, the litter box
- Finance & work: bill reminders, arriving at and leaving work, meetings, breaks
